Finishes you can feel the hand in.
Twenty-seven years applying Venetian plaster, microcement and heritage lime by hand. One pair of hands, start to finish, on every job.
A tired room, turned into something worth showing off.
I'm Wayne, owner of W. Parham Plastering. I've been plastering for 27 years and I still get satisfaction turning a tired room into something that looks a million pound.
Every job is mine from the first visit to the final burnish — no subcontractors, no crew turning up in my place. I'm clean, I'm tidy, and I always leave a top finish.
Punctual, always on time, always communicating from start to finish.
Five finishes, all applied by hand.
Venetian plaster
Lime-based polished plaster, built up in thin coats and burnished to a deep sheen. Depth and movement you cannot get from paint. Matt through to high polish, in any colour.
Microcement
A seamless, hard-wearing surface for walls, floors and wet areas. No grout lines, no joints. Concrete or flat finishes, and it goes over what's already there in most cases.
Heritage lime plastering
Traditional lime work for older and listed buildings, where the walls need to breathe. Matched to what's already on them rather than covered over.
Skimming
Flat, clean plaster over new board or tired walls and ceilings. The groundwork that everything else sits on, done properly so the decorator has nothing to fill.
Rendering
External render, applied to last through an Essex winter and look right against the rest of the property.
Some of my favourite jobs have been a single wall, done properly.

What the work looks like up close.
A bathroom, start to finish
Seamless microcement throughout, in a concrete finish — no tiles, no grout lines, nothing to catch dirt.
They couldn't believe how I transformed the bathroom, and they absolutely loved it.
Done entirely by hand
The same material, taken to a flat finish instead — a calmer, more even surface across every wall.
Over the moon with the finished product. They couldn't believe I'd done it just by hand — I got told they showed it to all their friends.
One wall, three tones of grey
Built up in layers so the colour shifts as the light moves across it, then burnished to a shine.
Loved the colour and the finish. Couldn't believe the product could achieve that. I'm back round there soon to do a few lounge walls in a different colour.
They say I’m a top bloke — polite, friendly, and always does a top job. Clean, tidy, and goes the extra mile.
Four steps, no surprises.
